Terms and Conditions

By registering for the Behavioural and Implementation Sciences in Health, Asia Conference 2026 (“BISHAC 2026” or “the Conference”), you agree to the following terms.

  1. Registration, Fees and Payment
    • The Conference will be held from 3–5 September 2026 in Singapore (Orchard Hotel and NUS University Town).
    • Registration is confirmed only upon full payment and receipt of a confirmation email.
    • All fees are in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
    • Accepted payment methods: Credit Card/Debit Card via Stripe.
    • For invoice billing to organisations, only e‑invoicing will be used (subject to prior approval).
    • For group registrations (2 or more participants), please submit a request via the group registration form on the BISHAC 2026 website.
    • The organiser may refuse or cancel registrations at its discretion (e.g. non‑payment, capacity constraints), in which case any refund will follow Clause 3.

 

  1. Ticket Delivery and Admission
    • Please provide a valid, regularly monitored email address during registration.
    • After successful registration and payment, an automated email with your registration summary and invoice will be sent; if not received, please check junk/spam or contact the Secretariat.
    • A reminder email containing your unique QR code will be sent about 7 days before the event. Each QR code admits one (1) person only and must not be shared or duplicated.
    • The organiser may refuse or revoke admission for reasonable cause, including non‑payment, breach of these terms, or disruptive behaviour.

 

  1. Cancellations, Refunds and Substitutions
    • Fifty percent (50%) of the registration fee, excluding administrative and GST charges, will be refunded for cancellations made on or before 12 August 2026.     • Approved refunds are subject to an 8% deduction for platform and administrative fees.
    • No refunds will be given for cancellations made on or after 12 August 2026, or for non‑attendance (no‑shows).
    • Requests to substitute one registered participant for another must be emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. before 17 August 2026. Substitutions after this date are not guaranteed and are at the organiser’s discretion.
    • Registration fees cover participation in the Conference only and do not include travel, accommodation, or insurance.

 

  1. Programme Changes, Format and Cancellation
    • While every effort will be made to deliver the programme as advertised, the organiser may make reasonable changes to the programme, speakers, session timings or event format (including shifting to hybrid/online) where necessary.
    • If the Conference is cancelled in its entirety by the organiser, participants will receive a refund of registration fees paid, less any irrecoverable transaction charges. The organiser will not be liable for other costs (e.g. travel or accommodation).

 

  1. Food and Beverage
    • All standard meals provided during the Conference are Halal‑certified.

 

  1. Personal Data and Privacy (PDPA)
    • The Conference is organised by the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (“NUS Medicine”).
    • By registering, you consent to NUS Medicine collecting and using your personal data (e.g. name, contact details, organisation, role, dietary needs, and any abstract‑related information) to:
      • process your registration and manage your participation;
      • communicate event information and post‑event follow‑up;
      • produce badges, delegate lists and other event materials; and
      • administer abstracts, presentations and networking activities.
    • For these purposes, your data may be shared with relevant NUS units, event platforms and service providers (which may be overseas‑based), logistics vendors (e.g. AV, badge printing, caterers), and, where appropriate, sponsors and other participants via delegate lists.
    • Your data will not be sold, and will not be used for unrelated purposes without fresh consent, unless required or permitted by law.
    • You may request access to or correction of your personal data, or withdraw your consent to specific uses (noting that this may affect your participation), by contacting This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

 

  1. Photography, Recording and Promotion
    • The Conference may be photographed, video‑recorded and audio‑recorded, and sessions may be live‑streamed.
    • By attending BISHAC 2026 (in person or online), you consent to your image, likeness and voice being captured and used in Conference reports, websites, social media, and other materials produced by NUS Medicine for documentation and promotional purposes, without further notice or payment, as permitted by law.
    • If you prefer not to be prominently featured, please inform the Secretariat at registration or at the on‑site helpdesk; reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate such requests, but complete exclusion from all recordings in public areas cannot be guaranteed.

 

  1. Direct Marketing (Optional)
    • With your separate consent on the registration form, NUS Medicine and/or BISI may use your contact details to send you information about future events or activities.

  1. Liability and Insurance
    • To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organiser (including NUS and its staff) is not liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss, or for loss of property, arising from your participation in the Conference, except where caused by the organiser’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
    • Participants are strongly advised to arrange their own travel, health and personal insurance. Conference fees do not include insurance coverage.
